The Fall Protection – Construction course is designed to raise awareness of the critical requirements for fall protection, work positioning, fall restraint, and fall arrest systems in the construction industry. This training focuses on the need for fall protection equipment and proper use of systems to prevent accidents. Upon successful completion, you will gain a clear understanding of the requirements for fall protection systems, including the hazards posed by falls of six feet or more, both with and without personal fall arrest systems. You will also learn about the different components of a personal fall arrest system and how they work together to stop a fall. The course covers essential skills such as inspecting and wearing a full-body harness, ensuring proper attachment of connecting devices to anchorage connectors, and using vertical or horizontal lifelines for safety.
