The Overhead Electrical Utilities (OSHA) training course is fully regulation compliant and meets classroom training requirements. This course covers proper grounding procedures, safe equipment use (including cranes and bucket trucks), best practices for on-site safety, and pole-top/tower-top rescue techniques.
Through case studies, quizzes, and a final written exam, learners will gain an in-depth understanding of safe electrical utility operations. While this training does not certify participants as competent climbers/rescuers, it provides a checklist for employers to conduct the practical exam required by OSHA.
This course aligns with federal safety regulations, including 29 CFR 1910.268 (Telecommunications), 29 CFR 1910.269 (Electric Power Transmission & Distribution), and 29 CFR 1926.964 (Overhead Lines & Live-Line Work).
